| Science of
Synthesis is a reference work for preparative methods in synthetic
chemistry. Its product-based classification system enables chemists to easily
find a solution to their synthetic problems. One thousand authors have compiled
literature dating back to the 1800's and follow the latest developments in
organic synthesis. They test methods to include the most reliable and effective
ones in Science of Synthesis. Every method has been handpicked and assessed by
specialists in organic synthesis. Technical Specifications: Science of Synthesis is a fully interactive, text and structure searchable online resource. Structure searching is available using an inbuilt JAVA applet, ISIS/Draw or ChemDraw software as preferred. The JAVA applet and ChemDraw structure drawing tools do not require installation of additional software; however the Internet Connection settings must be set to JAVA enabled. Consult the Getting Started Manual for information regarding the ISIS/Draw option as a plug-in is required (available to download from the Internet).
