Food And Beverage Policy

The mission of the Scientific Library is to protect and preserve the considerable collections of the Library so they remain available to all patrons in excellent condition. Because of damage caused by, among other things, insects, rodents, and molds, we request that patrons respect the conditions established in the following Food and Beverage Policy.

Library

Food and Beverages are not allowed in the Library. Items may be left at the Circulation counter for a short period of time if a visitor needs to use the Library.

Technology Training Lab

Food and Beverages are not allowed in the Technology Training Lab, consistent with the overall policy of the Scientific Library and basic computer handling practices. An exception is made for instructors who may bring water for themselves.
