their inclusion in this section does not indicate endorsement by Scientific Library staff.

• DNA Patent Database - A joint project of the Georgetown University's Kennedy Institute of Ethics and the Foundation of Genetic Medicine, allows free public access to the full-text and analysis of all DNA patents issued by the U.S.P.T.O.

• Delphion Patent Database- Fee-based: From Thompson, a full-service patent database. Please complete Database Search Request Form to obtain a patent from this database. [Service provided at no charge for NCI-Frederick employees only]

• PatentWeb - Fee-based: From MicroPatent, allows full-text and front page research of U.S., Europe, WIPO, and Japan patent databases.

• QPAT - Fee-based: QPAT, with international coverage, is a web-based patent searching site with full-text capabilities and simple interfaces that only require the entry of a single patent number to retrieve results for searches on citations, classification and families. A subscription to QPAT includes unlimited access to the Pluspat database, comprehensive patent family searching, detailed legal status information, unlimited PDF patent copies, and full-text searching of published applications and patents from the United States and the European Patent Office.

• USPTO Web Patent Databases - U.S. Patent & Trademark Office offers free access to bibliographic and full-text patent databases from 1976 to most recent weekly issue.
