Off-site Access

I am an NCI-Frederick employee. How do I access the Library's Online Databases and Journals from locations other than the NCI-Frederick site?

Easy!

First, you must have a Library Issued Barcode on the back of your NCI-Frederick employee ID. This must be obtained in person at the Scientific Library Circulation Desk, where you must be registered as an authorized Library user.

Off-Site Access to Library Databases - Use this link if you have a barcode, and you have registered with the Library. You will be asked to enter your Library Barcode or the 10 digit number on the back of your NIH Badge and Last Name (not case-sensitive). The system will then verify that you are a registered Library user.

Non- NCI at Frederick employees may use any unrestricted features of resources from the Main Page of the Library's Web Site.
