Off-site Access
I am a Frederick
National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR) employee. How do I access the
Library's licensed Online Journals, Books, and Databases from locations other
than the FNLCR site?
FNLCR employees with a Library account may use one of the following options -
- Your NIH user name and password - used for NIH network and email access
- Your 10 digit NIH ID / PIV Card number (no spaces) and Last Name (not case-sensitive) - requires *Library Account
- Your Library Barcode (no spaces) and Last Name (not case-sensitive) - requires *Library Account
*Library Account for FNLCR employees
are obtained at the Scientific Library or ATRF Library Circulation Desk. Once
you complete an application form, staff will create your account, allowing you
authorized use of the Library's licensed online resources.
The system must verify
that you are a registered Library user. If you experience any problems logging
in or accessing an authenticated resource from off-site, call

Please include in your e-mail, your full name, the journal or resource you are
trying to access, your library barcode number and a brief description of the
problem.
